Terms

Like every site out there that offers something for its visitors, I've got to have some terms you'll need to follow if you don't want your IP to become banned.

General Rules

  1. Direct linking is completely unacceptable unless otherwise specified. Direct linking is when you right-click on an image to get its URL so you can use it again on your site. This uses the owner's bandwidth and creates problems for them. So just don't it. Save images to your own server, or get an account at Photobucket or Imageshack. It's free.
  2. Nothing here is to be redistributed or used for commercial purposes. Don't take my graphics and put them on your site as your own, and under absolutely no circumstances are my written works to be claimed as your own. That is PLAGERISM and is so not cool. If I plagerized, I would have to kiss my college education goodbye--I'd be kicked out of my university, no questions asked. It's serious. Don't do it.
  3. Do not replicate my site's main layout at any time. I know that coders frequently [usually] borrow codes from other people and tweak them. I used to do it before I learned how to code. It's one thing to take someone's code and study it to figure out what you're doing, but there's no reason to copy coding anymore. There are tons of tutorials out there to show you what to do--there's a bunch on this site alone! If you're for some reason unable to code your own layouts, there are premade layouts out there, but you can also just ask someone for help! Even me! I'm busy, but I'll always make time to help someone!
  4. If you have an idea and want to use something of mine [some graphic, or a piece of something I wrote] for a layout, wallpaper, whatever, you must Must MUST ask me first. My email is kokunkokun@gmail.com.

Layouts and Designs

  1. Do not remove or alter any watermarks or links back to Kokunkokun. It's not so much that you're changing my artwork [it's someone else's image that I played with, anyhow], but it's my coding, and the links let other people know who coded it. That being said, since it's my code, don't change it.
  2. Along the same lines as the rule above, there's really no reason to alter the final image in a layout. If you like most of the design but wish some part were different, send me an email and I'll customize one for you. Really. Messing about with the result of other people's laboring in Photoshop or similar programs is not very cool, so just ask me instead.

Other Graphics

  1. Other graphics can be used on your site as long as you provide a link back.
  2. If you run a graphics site, you cannot put my graphics in your own collection, unless you make it clear you did not make it yourself.
  3. Wallpapers are not to be used to make other graphics or layouts. If you want a PNG used in a wallpaper, ask me for it.
  4. Things like wallpapers and desktop icons are for personal use ONLY. No re-distribution on your site.

Requests and Submissions

I will glad commission any request, as long as you are polite when you write to me. You can request any graphic that I offer on this site. Similarly, if you would like to submit something to my site, I will accept anything that I offer on my site.

Really it's just common courtesy, and think of it like this: if this were your site, would you want people stealing from it? Absolutely not. So please don't steal from my site.
