Past Versions
A quick look at the past versions of Kokunkokun!
Version 5: Feeling Bright for Spring

This layout was based off of some suggestions from Ai at Deadly Nightshade; namely that I try a center-aligned layout featuring more than one character. Well, I used three PNGs of the same character, but I still think it turned out pretty nicely. I based the coding on the Easy Breezy layout that can be found under table layouts. I'm usually not a big fan of pink, but I'm glad I made the exception.
Version 4.1: Tea Time

This layout was the replacement layout for version four. It featured a character from Bakuretsu Tenshi, and it had a completely different color scheme from what I had previously done at Kokun. I also used stripes in the background--another first for Kokun! I really love this layout, and I was a little sad to change it, but what better way to celebrate getting a sponsor than with a new layout?
Version Four: Queen Rose

This layout featured art by Tukiji Nao, and barely lasted a week. I was just generally unhappy with it, especially how it looked across different browsers. So, in the end, I started from scratch with a completely different image and color scheme and replaced it, rather than leave a layout I didn't like sitting here for a month.
Version Three: Febbre Alta [high fever]

This layout featured the five Gunslinger Girls and the lyrics from the Muse song "Blackout." I designed it after my boyfriend left me, and therefore had originally intended it as a Valentine's Day layout. But, after over a month of Version Two, I decided it was time for a change and put up Version Three as soon as I could.
Version Two: Wonderful Christmas-Time

This layout featured Bakuretsu Tenshi. Originally I wasn't planning on making a Christmasy layout for Kokunkokun, but I finally caved and did it, and I'm glad I did. The title comes from my favorite Christmas song by Paul McCartney and the Wings, which is why there are music notes in the image as well as snowflakes. I also got fancy with the CSS, which usually I try to keep simple. But, I figured since it's Christmas, why not go a little overboard?
Version One: Starstruck

This layout featured one of my favorite Nana images. I'd been dying to use it for a layout, and I'm really happy with how it turned out, since it took me forever to make up my mind of how I wanted it to look. Seriously. I think this is like the fifth version of the layout and I liked it the best. Granted, the footer was kind of an afterthought, which I thought was kind of obvious, but it still looked good.
